This Cherry Pet Urn with Rectangle Base frame combines a rectangular photo display with a front engraving layout for your pet's name and lifespan. The centered name area and side engraving space create a clear memorial presentation that is easy to read from a shelf, mantel, or remembrance table.
Handcrafted in the United States from North American cherry, the urn is hand sanded, finished with clear-coat lacquer, and built with a hidden wooden panel behind the frame for the ash compartment. Cherry begins as a lighter red and deepens over time, especially with sunlight exposure, while engraved details show strong contrast on the wood.
- The Rectangle Base design gives the front more personalization than the photo-only Rectangle style.

How is the Rectangle Base urn personalized?
- Front engraving: Add your pet's name and lifespan if you choose this option.
- Layout: The name is centered with engraving space on the left and right sides.
- Lid engraving: Add a pet name, name with message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
Will the cherry color stay the same?
No. Cherry starts as a lighter red and becomes darker red as it ages, especially with sunlight exposure. Keeping the urn out of direct sunlight can help slow the change if you prefer a lighter tone.
What are the size and capacity options?
- Small: 30 cubic inches and 6.5" L x 4.3" H x 4.6" W for pets 1-30 lb.
- Medium: 70 cubic inches and 7.7" L x 5.2" H x 5.3" W for pets 31-70 lb.
- Large: 120 cubic inches and 8.8" L x 6" H x 5.75" W for pets 71-120 lb.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next range, select the larger size.
How are ashes placed inside?
Press and slide the frame from the side opening until the opposite side pops out. Remove the plexiglass, unscrew the wooden panel with a Phillips screwdriver, place the ashes inside, re-secure the panel, place the photo against the panel, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame. The screwdriver is not included.
How is the photo prepared?
Upload your photo during customization and it is returned as a print-ready 6 x 4 inch image. Once printed, trim away the marked red area so the final photo fits the urn properly.

The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.
