The Cherry Pet Urn with Side Heart frame places a memorial photo on the left and personalized engraving on the right. This layout gives the design a balanced look while leaving room for your pet's name, a personal message, and lifespan on the front.
Each urn is handmade in the United States from North American cherry, hand sanded, and finished with clear-coat lacquer. Cherry starts as a lighter red and gradually darkens, especially when exposed to sunlight, and its natural surface helps engraving appear clear and strong.

- The photo is protected by plexiglass and the ashes are held behind a hidden wooden panel.

What can be engraved on the Side Heart frame?
Optional front engraving can include your pet's name, a message, and lifespan. Optional lid engraving can also be added with a pet name, name and message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
Which size should I choose?
- Small: Best for pets 1-30 lb and holds 30 cubic inches.
- Medium: Best for pets 31-70 lb and holds 70 cubic inches.
- Large: Best for pets 71-120 lb and holds 120 cubic inches.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next size, ordering the next size up is recommended.
How do I access the ash compartment?
Press on the side of the frame opening and slide the frame until the opposite side pops out. Remove the plexiglass, unscrew the wooden panel using a Phillips screwdriver, place the ashes inside, reattach the panel, position the photo, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame. The screwdriver is not included.
How do I prepare the photo?
Upload a photo during customization and it is prepared as a print-ready 6 x 4 inch image. Print the image, then trim away the marked red area so it fits the selected frame and urn size.
Will the wood darken over time?
Yes. Cherry naturally shifts from lighter red to darker red as it ages, and sunlight can make that process happen faster. Display the urn away from direct sunlight to slow the change.

How does the customization process work?

Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.
