The Walnut Side Oval Pet Urn gives the photo and personalization their own dedicated spaces. An oval photo opening sits on the left, the lifespan is placed beneath the photo, and the right side is reserved for your pet's name and message.
This urn is made from authentic North American black walnut, not stained wood made to imitate walnut. It is handmade in the United States, hand sanded, finished with clear-coat lacquer, and completed with plexiglass, felt feet, and hidden screws behind the frame.

How is the Side Oval frame arranged?
The Side Oval frame uses a left photo area and a right personalization area.
- Left side: Oval photo opening.

Is this authentic black walnut?
Yes. The urn is made from authentic black walnut rather than wood stained to look like walnut.
- Wood choice: Black walnut is the most popular wood in the collection.

What sizes does it come in?
Available sizes are based on your pet's healthy weight.
- Small: 30 cubic inches and 6.5 in L x 4.3 in H x 4.6 in W for pets 1-30 lb.
- Medium: 70 cubic inches and 7.7 in L x 5.2 in H x 5.3 in W for pets 31-70 lb.
- Large: 120 cubic inches and 8.8 in L x 6 in H x 5.75 in W for pets 71-120 lb.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next size up, moving up to the next size is recommended.
How is the interior accessed?
The frame releases from the front so you can reach the ash compartment and photo area.
- Press on the side of the frame at the opening and slide it until the opposite side releases.
- Remove the plexiglass and unscrew the wooden panel with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Place the ashes inside and re-secure the panel.
- Place the photo against the panel, then reinstall the plexiglass and frame.
A Phillips screwdriver is required and is not included.
How do photo sizing and printing work?
Photo dimensions depend on the selected frame style and urn size.
- Upload: Add your photo during customization.
- File: Receive an edited, print-ready 6 x 4 inch image.
- Finish: Print the file and remove the red area so the remaining photo fits.

How does the customization process work?
Personalize your memorial directly on the product page. Choose your options, enter your text, and preview the layout before adding to cart.
Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.

We edit your pet's photo and prepare it for a standard 6" x 4" print. You can print it at home or at major stores such as Walmart and Walgreens.
