The Cherry Pet Urn with Oval frame offers a classic memorial style centered around a single oval photo. Its warm cherry tone, smooth finish, and optional engraving make it a thoughtful choice for displaying a favorite image while keeping your pet's ashes safely inside.
Each urn is handmade in the United States from North American cherry, then hand sanded and finished with clear-coat lacquer. Cherry begins as a lighter red and gradually darkens, especially in sunlight, and its surface helps engraved names, dates, and artwork appear with strong contrast.

- The ash compartment is secured behind the frame by a wooden panel and four Phillips screws.

Can the Oval frame be engraved?
Yes. Optional Oval Frame engraving can include your pet's name, lifespan, and clip art arranged near the top corners. Optional lid engraving is also available for a pet name, a name with message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
Which size is right for my pet?
- Small: 30 cubic inches for pets 1-30 lb.
- Medium: 70 cubic inches for pets 31-70 lb.
- Large: 120 cubic inches for pets 71-120 lb.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next size range, choose the next size up.
How do I place the ashes and photo?
Press the frame at the side opening and slide it until the opposite side pops out. Remove the plexiglass, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the wooden panel, place the ashes inside, re-secure the panel, set the photo against it, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame. The screwdriver is not included.
Do you print the memorial photo?
No. During customization, your uploaded photo is prepared as a print-ready 6 x 4 inch image. After printing, trim away the marked red area so the photo fits the selected frame style and urn size.
What should I expect from cherry wood?
Cherry has a warm red appearance that darkens with age, especially when exposed to sunlight. Keep the urn away from direct sunlight if you prefer to slow the darkening process.

Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.
