The Walnut Oval Pet Urn presents your pet's photo in a soft oval frame while giving the memorial the rich appearance of real black walnut. This design is suited for a traditional pet cremation urn with room for a photo, ashes, and optional engraving on the front.
Made 100% in the United States from North American black walnut, the urn is hand sanded and finished with clear-coat lacquer to keep the natural wood visible. The ashes are enclosed behind the frame with a wooden panel and four Phillips screws, which keeps the outside free of visible hardware.

What engraving is available on the Oval Frame?
Optional Oval Frame engraving is arranged around the top corners of the frame.
- Name: Add your pet's name.
- Lifespan: Add your pet's dates.
- Clip art: Add a small engraved accent.
- Lid option: Add lid engraving with a pet name, name and message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
Is this real black walnut?
Yes. This urn is made from authentic North American black walnut, not wood stained to look like walnut.
- Finish: Clear-coat lacquer highlights the natural wood.
- Engraving: Walnut provides strong contrast for personalized details.
What sizes and dimensions are offered?
Choose the urn size by your pet's healthy weight.
- Small: 30 cubic inches, 6.5 in L x 4.3 in H x 4.6 in W, for pets 1-30 lb.
- Medium: 70 cubic inches, 7.7 in L x 5.2 in H x 5.3 in W, for pets 31-70 lb.
- Large: 120 cubic inches, 8.8 in L x 6 in H x 5.75 in W, for pets 71-120 lb.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next size up, choose the next size up.
How are ashes and the photo placed in the urn?
Access the ash compartment through the front frame area.
- Press on the side of the frame opening and shift the frame right or left.
- Remove the plexiglass and unscrew the wooden panel.
- Place the ashes inside and re-secure the wooden panel.
- Add the photo against the panel, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame.
A Phillips screwdriver is required and is not included.
Do you print the photo?
Photos are not printed with the urn, but the uploaded photo is edited and returned as a print-ready 6 x 4 inch file.
- After printing: Trim away the red marked area.
- Fit: The prepared photo size is based on the frame style and urn size.

How does the customization process work?
Personalize your memorial directly on the product page. Choose your options, enter your text, and preview the layout before adding to cart.
Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.
