The Oak Pet Urn | Oval brings a classic oval photo opening together with the natural strength and grain of North American oak. Designed as a pet urn for ashes and a favorite picture, it offers a clean memorial style that works well when the photo should be the main focus.
The urn is made in the United States, hand sanded, and finished with clear-coat lacquer for a smooth protective finish. Standard plexiglass covers the photo, the wooden ash panel is secured with four Phillips screws hidden behind the frame, and optional engraving can add your pet's name, lifespan, and clip art to the Oval Frame.

What engraving is available on the Oval Frame?
- Frame engraving: The Oval Frame can be engraved with your pet's name, lifespan, and clip art in the top left and top right corners.
- Lid engraving: Optional lid engraving can include a pet name, a name with a message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
- Oak appearance: Engraving looks good on oak, but it appears more subtle against the natural grain than it may on some other woods.
Which size is right for my pet?
- Small: Small holds 30 cubic inches, measures 6.5 in L x 4.3 in H x 4.6 in W, and fits pets in the 1-30 lb range.
- Medium: Medium holds 70 cubic inches, measures 7.7 in L x 5.2 in H x 5.3 in W, and fits pets in the 31-70 lb range.
- Large: Large holds 120 cubic inches, measures 8.8 in L x 6 in H x 5.75 in W, and fits pets in the 71-120 lb range.
- Size tip: Choose the next size up if your pet is within 5 lb of the next size range.
How are the ashes and photo placed inside?
- Ashes: Press one side of the frame opening so the other side releases, remove the plexiglass, unscrew the wooden panel with a Phillips screwdriver, place the ashes inside, and secure the panel again.
- Photo: Set the printed photo against the panel, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame.
- Photo file: Photo printing is not included, but an uploaded photo is edited and returned as a print-ready 6 x 4 in file that can be trimmed after printing for the correct fit.

How does the customization process work?
Personalize your memorial directly on the product page. Choose your options, enter your text, and preview the layout before adding to cart.
Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.

We edit your pet's photo and prepare it for a standard 6" x 4" print. You can print it at home or at major stores such as Walmart and Walgreens.
