This urn is handmade in the United States from North American cherry, then hand sanded and finished with clear-coat lacquer. Cherry begins as a lighter red and darkens over time, especially with sunlight exposure, while the front photo is protected by plexiglass and the ashes are secured behind a hidden wooden panel.

What personalization is available on this Side Rectangle urn?
Optional front engraving can include your pet's name, lifespan, and message on the right side of the photo. Optional lid engraving can also include a pet name, a name with message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
How do I choose a size?
- Small: 30 cubic inches for pets 1-30 lb.
- Medium: 70 cubic inches for pets 31-70 lb.
- Large: 120 cubic inches for pets 71-120 lb.
If your pet is within 5 lb of the next size up, choose the larger size.
How do I open and close the urn?
Press one side of the frame opening and slide the frame until the opposite side comes free. Remove the plexiglass, unscrew the wooden panel with a Phillips screwdriver, place the ashes inside, fasten the panel again, position the photo, replace the plexiglass, and reinstall the frame. The required screwdriver is not included.
How is the photo prepared?
Your uploaded photo is prepared as a print-ready 6 x 4 inch image. After printing, trim away the marked red area so the remaining image fits the selected urn size and frame style.
What should I know about cherry wood?
Cherry has a warm red color that becomes darker with age, especially in sunlight. Limiting direct sunlight can help slow the natural color change.
