The Oak Pet Urn | Side Rectangle uses a straightforward side-by-side layout with a rectangle photo on the left and personalization space on the right. It is made to hold pet ashes while keeping your pet's name, lifespan, message, and favorite image together in one oak memorial.
Handmade in the United States from North American oak, the urn is hand sanded and finished with clear-coat lacquer for a classic wood look. A standard piece of plexiglass covers the photo, felt feet help protect display surfaces, and the ash panel is secured by four Phillips screws hidden behind the frame.

What personalization does the Side Rectangle frame allow?
- Frame engraving: The right side can be engraved with your pet's name, lifespan, and message.
- Lid engraving: Optional lid engraving can include a pet name, a name with a message, clip art, or a message up to 4 lines and 150 total characters.
- Oak appearance: Engraving is visible on oak, but the contrast is softer because of the natural grain.
What size guidance should I follow?
- Small: Small holds 30 cubic inches and is recommended for pets in the 1-30 lb healthy weight range.
- Medium: Medium holds 70 cubic inches and is recommended for pets in the 31-70 lb healthy weight range.
- Large: Large holds 120 cubic inches and is recommended for pets in the 71-120 lb healthy weight range.
- Size tip: Choose the next size up when your pet is within 5 lb of the next range.
How do I place ashes and install the photo?
- Ashes: Press on the frame at the opening and slide it so the opposite side releases, then remove the plexiglass, unscrew the wooden panel with a Phillips screwdriver, place the ashes inside, and reattach the panel.
- Photo: Place the printed photo against the panel, reinstall the plexiglass, and slide the frame back into place.
- Photo file: Uploaded photos are edited and returned as a print-ready 6 x 4 in file, and the marked red area is cut away after printing for the correct fit.

Will my engraving look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to be as accurate as possible. Minor differences can occur due to engraving methods and material grain, but spacing and text layout are closely matched.
How long does it take to make and ship a custom urn?
Production times vary by item. Most custom orders are made within a few business days and then ship according to the selected method at checkout.
Can custom items be returned?
Custom products are typically not eligible for return unless there is a defect or an error on our end. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll make it right.

We edit your pet's photo and prepare it for a standard 6" x 4" print. You can print it at home or at major stores such as Walmart and Walgreens.
